As members of St. Clare's Transformers team that competed in the FIRST Lego League Hydrodynamics season, we were challenged to choose and solve a real-world problem about water. We are now among the top 20 teams from around the globe that have advanced to the FIRST Lego League Global Innovation Awards (GIA), which will be held in San Jose, CA.

We were inspired to make Artist's Miracle because of our art teacher. We don't have a sink in our classroom, making it difficult to collect materials and do painting projects with students. We wanted to help our art teacher be able to provide students with an enjoyable art experience. Having this invention in any creative space dedicated to painting, will also serve as a way to conserve water and keep the pipes of these buildings at their best. There are many consequences to pouring paint water down the drain and so we set a goal for ourselves. We wanted to create something that had a simple user interface and would allow for easy disposal of paint the right way.
